Holy Land Tour Itinerary, June 13-23, 2018
Saturday Day 1: January 13 DEPART FROM USA
Depart on an overnight flight from New York. Add-on flights are available from most major cities. Dinner and breakfast are served on the flight.
Sunday Day 2: January 14- TEL AVIV
We arrive in Tel Aviv; upon arrival, we meet Select International Tours’ representative who assist us through customs. Meet our Christian Tour Manager and driver who help us board our bus to our hotel. We settle into our hotel, have dinner and a well-deserved restful night. Overnight. (D)
Monday Day 3: January 15 – CAESAREA – MOUNT CARMEL – MEGID- DO-CANA- NAZARETH- TIBERIAS
In this morning after breakfast we start our day visiting Caesarea, located on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, known as the port from which Paul set on his missionary journeys. We explore the Crusader’s castle, the Roman amphitheater and see a movie about the port. Continue along the coast to Mount Carmel, to see the sites of Elijah’s triumph over the prophets of Baal. We will travel north to reach Megiddo, on the Plain of Armageddon to see King Solomon’s stables and water supply system. Visit Nazareth, the boyhood of Jesus, to visit the Church of Annun- ciation and Mary’s Well. We stop at Cana where Jesus made his miracle to turn water into wine. Here couples may choose to renew their marriage vows. Then we check into our hotel in Tiberias for dinner and overnight. (B/L/D)
Tuesday Day 4: January 16 – SEA OF GALILEE – CAPERNAUM – CAESAREA PHILIPPI – YARDENIT BAPTISMAL SITE
Following breakfast we start our day with a boat ride across the Sea of Galilee. While on the boat read the Scriptures, and pause for a brief worship service re- membering the many miracles our Lord performed in this area. Our boat docks at Ginossar to visit the “Jesus Boat” museum to see a boat which dates to the time of Jesus. Reaching Capernaum, we see the remains of an early church, the remains of Peter’s house, and the ancient synagogue. Then descend to the site of Banias, springs from a source of the Jordan River. Near here Peter made his great confession that Jesus Christ was Lord. Stop in the Southern Golan for a scenic view of the Sea of Galilee, before gathering on the Mount of Beatitudes by Sea of Galilee. Overnight Tiberius (B/L/D)
Wednesday Day 5: January 17- TIBERIAS – BEIT SHE’ AN – JERICHO- DEAD SEA
This morning after breakfast we leave the Galilee area and travel south through the Jordan River Valley, stopping to visit the new excavations at Beit She’ an. Here, see the excavations of the city where the Philistines hung the bodies of Saul and Jonathan. Continuing through the Jordan Valley to Jericho one of the oldest cities in the world, we will enter Jericho to see the excavations of the ancient walls, view the Mount of Temptation, and see Elijah’ s Spring. After lunch, stop by the Dead Sea, the Dead Sea is 1300 feet below sea level and is the lowest sport on the earth. The water here consists of 25% salt being so dense that it’s impossible to sink. Be sure to bring your bathing suit.. After our stop at Dead Sea we check into our hotel for dinner and overnight. Overnight the Dead Sea (B/D)
Thursday Day 6: January 18 – MASADA – EIN GEDI- QUMRAN – BETHA BARA – OLD JERICHO- JERUSALEM
After having breakfast we climb the mountain fortress of Masada, truly a remarkable historic site. Our next stop is Ein Gedi a green oasis in the middle of the desert, where David hid while fleeing from King Saul. Afterwards travel to Qumran, to see the caves where the Dead Sea Scroll were found by the shepherds. After lunch, head toward Jerusalem. On the way, we stop at Betha bara, where John baptized those who came to him, this is also known as the “place of crossing”. We then stop to view the St. George Monastery, an active monastery since the 5th century. Before arriving Jerusalem we stop on top of Mount Scopus for a magnificent view and Genesis welcome to the Holy City. Jerusalem for dinner and overnight. (B/L/D)
Friday Day 7: January 19 – TEMPLE MOUNT – MOUNT OF OLIVES –BETHLEHEM
This morning after breakfast, visit the Wailing Wall to tuck a prayer into the wall of one of the most holy Jewish sites. Ascend the Temple Area; from there we will pass Dome of the Rock Mosque, and the Aqsa Mosque. Short distance away is the Mount of Olives from where we have a breathtaking view of Jerusalem. There our guide will point all important sites of Jerusalem. Walking down Palm Sunday Road we arrive to the Garden of Gethse- mane to pray as Jesus did. We enjoy lunch in Bethlehem followed by a visit to the Church of Nativity built over cave of Christ’s birth, as well as the Shepherd’s Field where the Shepherds saw the stars of nativity. Saturday Day 8: January 20- WESTERN WALL TUNNELS-POOL OF BETHESDA – SOUTHERN STEPS- JEWISH QUARTER- UPPER ROOM
On this morning we will start our day with a visit to the Western Wall Tunnels and Excavations site. Here we walk on the very stones where Jesus trod Herod’s “second temple’, and see the place where our Savior taught the scriptures. Short distance away is St. Anne’s Church and Pool of Bethesda. Our next stop will be Southern Wall excavations, also we will visit the Antonia Fortress, site of Pilate’s Palace. We continue our walk visit- ing the Jewish Quarter nearby to see David’s Citadel, and to Mount Zion to visit the Upper Room, the traditional site of the Last Supper and the fire of Holy Spirit on Pentecost. Sunday Day 09: January 21- SUNDAY SERVICE – SHARING THE BREAD- ISRAELI MUSEUM
We return to Bethlehem today to join the local Christians for Sunday service and enjoy lunch with the local families during “Sharing the Bread” meal. Rest of the day is at leisure to explore Jerusalem on your own and visit the Israeli Museum where we see the model city of Jerusalem at the time of King David and the Dead Sea Scrolls. Monday Day 10: January 22- POOL OF SILOAM- HOUSE OF CAIAPHAS– VIA DOLO- ROSA – HOLY SEPULCHER- GARDEN TOMB
Our last day in Jerusalem, starts with a visit to the recent archaeological discover of the Pool of Siloam. This is the place where Jesus told the blind man to use the mud for his eyes so he would see. Visit the House of Caiaphas, where Peter denied Christ three times. Going into the Old City of Jerusalem we pass many of the traditional Fourteen Stations of the Cross on Via Dolorosa and visit Ecce Homo Church. Via Dolorosa will take us to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Our visit to Holy Land ends with prayer at the Garden Tomb, a peaceful spot where we can remember Christ’s crucifixion, burial and resurrection. We are then transferred to the port of Jaffa for last minute shopping and our farewell dinner. (B/L/Farewell dinner)
Tuesday Day 11: January 23 RETURN TO USA
After a great Journey and unforgettable moments in the Holy Land we will check out from our Hotel, and head to Ben Gurion Airport for flights back home. (B)

Your passport must be valid through September 11, 2018. Reservations will not be processed until we have passport copies. Prices quoted are based on cash payments. Cash prices $3,795.00 for the complete package, $2,895.00 land only (air not included), $695.00 single supplement (in room by yourself) Credit card payments are: $3,985.00 for the complete package, $3,040.00 for land only, $730.00 single supplement.
Airline, seating and special requests: The seats are assigned by the airlines. We do not reserve specific seats. You may change your seat, provide mileage program information and passenger contact information directly with the airlines once the ticket numbers are received. (approximately three weeks prior to departure). All special needs and requests due to medical or dietary restrictions must be requested in writing at least 60 days prior to departure. Business class and premium coach seats are available upon request as are add-ons from your hometown airport. Switching from air and land to land only within 90 days from departure will be charged a $100 service fee and any airline charges.
Single supplement: A limited number of single rooms are available at an additional cost of $695.00 per person cash payment. Prices are based on two people per room. We do not guarantee room mates but will do our best to connect you with a possible share.
Land Only Option: $2,895.00 per person cash price. Land only services start and end at the hotels, unless you are able to meet the group at the airport, and do not include airfare.
Baggage: Each participant is permitted to check (1) suitcase weighing no more than 50 lbs., and one small carry-on bag on the plane. Airline baggage fees are not included. Please check the specific baggage fees on the airline website.
Tour Cancellation Policy: $350.00 non-refundable. 90-60 days before departure a total of $500.00 is non-refundable. Within 60 days of departure all payments are non-refundable regardless of reason for cancellations. All cancellations must be in writing. Unused portions of the trip are not refundable. We strongly encourage you to purchase Travel Protection. Call or visit our website for details on the cost per person for the Group Deluxe and Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) plans. Pricing: Prices are based on a minimum of 20 passengers traveling & payment by cash or check. Fuel surcharge and taxes are subject to change at time of final invoicing.
