Hey friends and fans...Happy Halloween to you all!  Home for a bit now, finally...but it has been a good productive couple of months.  Last month, I wrote to you right after returning from Louisville, KY for the NQC.  Right after that, we turned around and headed to Dollywood in TN for the SGMA Hall of Fame ceremony and the Singing News Fan Awards...great time... beautiful whether while we were there.  (And yes I got to fly there, too!)  Please check out our Photos page to see some of the sights.

Another trip that we did?  A trip back to the hospital...  Yep, had to have one of my neck arteries “cleaned” out.  You thought I was sharp before, just you wait til after the other side is fixed up, too.  Thank you all for the flowers, cards, and prayers.  It sure makes the recovery process faster, which by the way I was back home the very next day after the procedure.  The surgeon, hospital team, and technology is great and all, but I think it was the love of family and friends that did the trick.

What’s up next?  Obviously will be taking it easy for a bit, but I AM back at work.  Seems that our Brumley Sing is almost a year-round project anymore, but we love it.  And with the kids and their projects--the DVDs and the cruise-- there is definitely something going on all the time.  Getting the house decorated for the trick-or-treaters, and trying to stay out of the candy.  Plus, already thinking about the menu for Thanksgiving.  Love the fall!
